Homelab Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 6, 2026
Homelab is a client app for connecting to self-hosted services configured by the user. The app does not provide hosted accounts and does not operate a backend service for user data.
Data Stored On Your Device
Service URLs, labels, credentials, API keys, tokens, preferences, and backup data are stored locally on your device. Credentials are used only to connect to the services you configure.
Network Connections
Homelab connects to the server URLs that you enter in the app. Data returned by those services is displayed in the app so you can monitor and manage your own infrastructure.
Analytics And Tracking
Homelab does not include advertising tracking and does not sell personal data. The app does not collect analytics through a Homelab-operated backend.
Backups
If you create or import a backup, that file is controlled by you. Keep backups private because they may contain service configuration and credentials.
Third-Party Services
Homelab can connect to third-party and open-source services that you host or control. Those services have their own privacy and security behavior, independent of Homelab.
